Description
I want to do a few finished pictures to put in a portfolio (somehow). This has been sitting around mostly finished on my computer for... 1 or 2 years now? To finish it I just had to fix up the face, redo the ear, do the lips, teeth, eyebrows, sky/clouds and weird scarf thing/clothing. I think it is finished now... Though I'm alternating between hating it and not minding it too much 
There are a lot of things wrong with it, but I was working with an oldish, mostly finished picture and really just wanted to get it done.
Was also considering putting hints of the background colour into the highlights of something on the figure but decided against it.

That background is pretty damn cool. Putting hints of it on the figure probably would have helped to better convey some cohesion between the figure and the background, though you may have simply not wanted that.
Beyond that, all I'll say is any art piece of mine that I KNOW is really flawed probably doesn't belong in most any portfolio I would put together :/ (and, consequently, I don't have much of a portfolio worth presenting
).
